so thankful for...

• cool breezes
• when God's word "comes alive"...those moments when i just can't get enough
• sweet little lunch trip to the riviera (read between the lines: i got to eat my favorite food in guinea!)

• the fact that needlegunning STOPS.  eventually it always stops.
• finding poetry in the discarded paper pile (and having a friend to send it to)
• watching our children successfully solve problems
• "miss nurse lynne" (that's what emma calls our crew nurse)
• "espresso pillows" (via krissy via christina via trader joe's!)

• feeling more like me again
• God-ordained conversations
• random comments/answers to questions from my children that make me burst into laughter: me - "eli, why do you have socks on your hands?" eli - "i have no earthly idea." 

• good news for the Szareks
• God made the majority of the world with "cool" colors - the sky, the ocean, the land...all blues and greens (which are "calming" colors)...and then there are fun accents in "warm" colors.  even in His creation, He has built in a calming factor.
