full of thanks.

  • when technology gets it right ("would you like to mute this conversation?" yes. yes, I would.)]
  • good hymn for my Thursday: "this is my Father's world oh, let me ne'er forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong God is the ruler yet."
  • the cheerful voicemail recording at valley rescue mission - and the ease of scheduling a pick up (and they picked up the correct items!)
  • papa and lane got to come to Caroline's soccer game in macon - twice! and Laura Lane came the 2nd time.

  • "my sighing is not hidden from You." Psalm 38:9
  • coffee and community and rich conversation at Amy's
  • sweet stories:
  • pizza and cheesecake shared by the cottage guests
  • getting to be a part of Lauren's special book.  what a special friend.
  • multiple long conversations and plenty of cups of coffee on the porch this week
  • all the resources at the library - specifically books and origami and coloring pages and letters and dinosaurs this time
  • the weather forecast was wrong
  • eli's extra helpfulness
  • singing and dancing with the cash girls
  • a delightful night for a Savanah Bananas baseball game! Matt's generosity.

  • watching my kiddos do what they think is right and best even if it's not what others are choosing to do
  • thinking about the idea that accepting/receiving help is a sign of strength and trust.
  • "is there anything I can do for you this week?" -nick
