what i would have posted last week if i had internet (and access to a computer)
- got everything done on thursday with 30 minutes to spare
- coffee & biscotti in the back on the flight (channelling my inner lane)
- all the travel went well/easy/no significant delays
- "nice people make our job nicer." - flight attendent
- downtown abby movie with nick
- friends who pray
- all the smiles (here are 2) during bumper cars, skating, latin dancing and shuffleboard
- live music
- early bedtime, deep sleep
- breakfast in (on) the bed
- perfectly rainy walk about juneau
- red bull boxcar races
- canary island level churros
- just the right number of books for the trip
- anytime i find a jebco mailbox
- all the wonderful africa mercy memories that were stirred up by being on a ship
- watching king richard
- listening to john mark comer's sermon series on sabbath
- all wrapped up enjoying our balcony
- scattergories and bananagrams and dutch blitz...with beautiful views
- lovely day in victoria. such incredible flowers!
- so much wonderful time with nick
- yaya and amy's willingness to keep kiddos
And this week's
- eli was accepted to Impact 360! (that was the exciting phone call from caleb referenced in the last list...but he didn't know the good news yet so i didn't want to post it on here)
- an entire saturday where my 2 goals were to hold zoe and watch the UGA game
- sweet & meaningful time around chris and jennifer's table
- zoe happily spent the night with the whites
- because she spent the night with the whites i was able to go for a lovely run on mountain brook
- delicious and wonderful and purposeful dinner with nick and emma
- "that's what savings are for." neither nick nor i freaked out about having to use so much of our savings to purchase not 1 but 2 new AC Units
- boxes of hand me overs from melissa...ship friends continuing to bless us
- a house full of moms and kids tuesday morning
- so very delightful walk with lauren
- 4 days in a row of seeing molly!
- kiddos outside painting all the things (rocks, pinecones, leaves....)
- zipline workouts & laughter...kids being brave (and hanging on!)
- new to us cuisanart coffee part (and the fun saga behind it)
- walking in to a kitchen full of teenagers worshipping together
- refreshing staff meeting
- new roof is pretty much covered by insurance
- water issue in the cottage was an easy fix
- edwards electric worked on the driveway lights
- arrow exterminators are fabulous
- boxes of stuff getting where they belong
- carey called!
