Count Your Blessings

I was singing this hymn to Caroline the other night (it's become one of her favorites to request)...it reminds me of Thankful Thursday lists...but, as we've been singing it, I've not been able to remember all the words/verses....so I used one of my lifelines to phone a friend (aka Google). 

I'm Thankful that God gave these words to Johnson Oatman Jr. in 1897:


When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
