only missed it by 41 minutes

thankful thursday....first thing on friday...

• it's almost done. the most challenging project i've done in a while is almost done!!! (and after it's done i am going to bed!!!!!)
• humility (and when things happen that cultivate humility)
• time with courtney (and really good pizza! with coke!!)
• spending the afternoon outside (in january)
• space to spread out
• eli's hugs
• lauren heath's sweet kindness
• "i am His and He is mine."
• miss shawn keeping kids during crave
• falling asleep in nick's arms
• carey's willingness to proofread
• coupon incentives
• that we don't need to be afraid of disappointing God
• timing - when things go "as planned"/according to schedule
• lunch with the sauciers (learning the art of spaghetti & french fries)(and, much more importantly, the beautiful art of encouragement, care and hospitality)
• my brother is asleep upstairs!
